Hermosa Beach Parade to Honor L.A. Kings

The Stanley Cup will be featured throughout the parade and will travel down The Strand north from Pier Plaza to the border of Manhattan Beach. Will you be there?

Officials with the City of Hermosa Beach and the city's chamber of commerce and visitors bureau are hustling to pull together a parade that will honor the Los Angeles Kings and the Stanley Cup on Monday.

Plans call for the Stanley Cup to ride on a fire truck to travel down Pier Avenue to Pier Plaza, beginning at 11 a.m. HB City Council members and chamber officials will then make a presentation to Jarret Stoll, Kings center and HB resident. It's not known if other Kings players will be there.

At 11:45 a.m., planners expect the Stanley Cup to then travel north with Stoll in a convertible on The Strand to the Manhattan Beach border.
