Manhattan Beach Crime: Leaf Blower Robbery

The Manhattan Beach Police Department reported the following crimes and arrests in Manhattan Beach for the period spanning October 5 through October 16.

This week's reports include an individual allegedly stealing a leaf blower at knife point and the alleged egging of a vehicle.

Robbery

Oct. 10, 1:20 p.m., 600 block of 35th Street
An unknown person allegedly held a victim at knife point and stole a leaf blower and other equipment from the victim.

Counterfiet

Oct. 15, 2:59 a.m., 1100 block of North Meadows Avenue
During a traffic stop, Manhattan Beach Police arrested the driver of the vehicle on suspicion of possession of counterfeit ten dollar bills.

Residential Burglary

Oct. 11, 2:00-6:00 p.m., 1100 block of Ninth Street
An unknown person or persons entered a residence through an open door and allegedly proceeded to ransack the bedroom and steal a laptop computer.

Vandalism

Oct. 11, 7:00-10:00 p.m., 1600 block of North Ocean Drive
Someone allegedly punctured the passenger side tire of a vehicle and also threw eggs at the vehicle.

Vehicle Burglary

Oct. 16-17, 200 block of North Highland Avenue
An unknown person allegedly smashed the window of a vehicle and stole a laptop computer from the back seat and computer case from the front seat. Police said a wallet was also taken from the glove compartment of the vehicle.

Mail Theft

Oct. 5-6, 4400 block of North Highland Avenue
Someone stole mail from a mailbox on Highland Avenue.
