What's Up: Holiday Fireworks, Pier Lighting, Yuletide Runs

Here are five things for your Thursday and beyond in Manhattan Beach:  

1. The 19th Holiday Open House and 24th Annual Pier Lighting will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Details here.
2. The Manhattan Beach Yuletide 5K is set for Dec. 21 at 5:30 p.m. The event includes a 5K Run/Walk for all ages, the Elves Dash 1K (ages 7-12) at 6:30 p.m., the Little Elves 400m (ages 3-6) at 6:40 p.m. and  
   Crawlers 50m (2 years old and younger) at 6:50 p.m. Sign up online. More details here.

4. The 25th Annual Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks Festival is set for Dec. 8 from 3:30-7 p.m. Schedule of events here.
5. Manhattan Beach Middle School is the site of Saturday's TEDx Manhattan Beach's "Imagine That!" from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. The event is sold out, however, you can get on a waitlist here. Tickets for a Friday night dinner and conversation with the event speakers is still available.
