What's Up: Santa Float Route, Santa Parade, Holiday Fireworks

Tis the season for Santa Claus in Manhattan Beach. Fireworks, too!

Here are five things for your Wednesday and beyond in Manhattan Beach:

  1. Santa arrives at Manhattan Village on Friday when the Holiday Parade begins at 9 a.m. in the parking lot near Olive Garden. The Mira Costa Marching Band will be in the parade along with Santa's friends. Santa's House will be on site at Manhattan Village and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance. There will be holiday arts and crafts, face painting and balloon twisting. Children who are registered in advance will receive a free goodie bag while supplies last. Call (310) 546-5555 for information.
  2. Santa begins his weeknight trek through Manhattan Beach neighborhoods on Monday, Dec. 2. Full details here.
  3. Raffle tickets to win the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce's Holiday Stocking are available for $20 each or six tickets for $100. Details here.
  4. The 25th Annual Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks Festival takes place Sunday, Dec. 8 from 3:30-7 p.m. Details here.
