Join children's author Diane Lang at Pages after school on Tuesday, September 18 at 3:30 p.m.
Many books about snakes, spiders, and other often-feared creatures focus on the threatening or alarming aspects of these animals. But all have their place in nature, and Ms. Lang points out the laudable aspects of each, even flies and mosquitoes, with enthusiasm—and in rhyme! Please join us as she reads from the book and shares some of her more surprising animal companions. There will also be games after the reading and simple crafts for children to take home, including a keepsake “Spider Shuttle!”
Books will be available to purchase and be signed by the author.
