Interfaith Thanksgiving Service Tuesday Night

The service will be held at Temple Menorah in Redondo Beach. Attendees may bring non-perishable food items to donate for local food banks.

About 700 people are expected to attend the 40th annual South Bay Interfaith Thanksgiving Service Tuesday night from 7:30-9 p.m. at Temple Menorah, 1100 Camino Real, Redondo Beach, said an event spokesperson.

More than 20 congregations and religious communities are involved in the Thanksgiving Service, which includes a mass choir from all participating interfaith congregations.

All are invited and may bring baked goods to share for refreshments. Collections will be taken to be donated to a local charity. Attendees may also bring donations of non-perishable food items that will be donated to a local food bank.

Carpooling is recommended. Parking will be available at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 715 Knob Hill Avenue and Alta Vista Park.
