L.A. Kings Parade Street Closures for Wednesday in Manhattan Beach

Here's what you need to know about getting around town tomorrow.

From the Manhattan Beach Police Department:

The following streets and parking lots will be closed due to the South Bay Beach Cities Los Angeles Kings Parade on Wednesday, June 18 in Manhattan Beach: 

  • Manhattan Avenue: 1st Street north to 9th Place (during parade) 
  • Manhattan Avenue: 9th Place north to 15th Street (duration of event, 1-6 p.m.)
  • Manhattan Beach Boulevard: Highland Avenue west to Ocean Drive (duration of event, 1pm-6pm) 
  • Ocean Drive: 1st Street north to 9th Place (during parade) 
  • Ocean Drive: 9th Place north to 15th Street (duration of event, 1-6 p.m.) 

  • Upper Pier Parking lots: closed to public 8 a.m.-midnight 
  • Lower Pier Parking lots: closed to public 1 p.m.-midnight 

Parade begins in Redondo Beach at 3 p.m. and ends in Manhattan Beach at 4:30 p.m. (100 Block of Manhattan Beach Boulevard). 

Residents who live within the event area and need to leave or return, are encouraged to make arrangements prior to street closures.
