PHOTOS: Halloween Trick-or-Treating in Manhattan Beach

A look at some of Manhattan Beach's busiest trick-or-treating streets on Halloween night.

Thousands of children and parents took to the streets of Manhattan Beach for some Halloween trick-or-treating Wednesday night.

Known for their safe streets that are free of traffic, the walk streets of Manhattan Beach once again proved one of the busiest spots in the city for children eager to fill their bags with candy.

This year, along Fifth Street, a giant white tarp hung across the sidewalk with a showing of the classic movie Young Frankenstein projected on it from a vintage film projector.

Further down the street, a haunted house set up inside a tent proved a popular attraction as children lined up to get inside.
