Storm Drain Cat Needs Loving Home

A young female cat rescued from a storm drain needs a home.

This sweet, healthy cat was found in a storm drain in east Manhattan Beach recently and had to be rescued by the fire department.

According to Staci Cash, a city staff member, the female cat is between 2 and 5 years of age and they would like to return her to her owner, if possible. No one knows how long she was in the storm drain but she was found wearing a kind of turquoise-colored collar with bells but had no identification. She did have superficial wounds around her neck area and lost the fur on about the last third of her tail.

Her fur is thin now and she is skinny from being lost but her fur will grow out and she will fill out. Cash  reports she is a good eater, playful, full of affection and enjoys cuddles. She has an inquisitive personality.

If you're her owner or would like to adopt this sweet female cat, email Staci Cash at s.cash@att.net.
