Bach's Lunch Recital

Martha Kleiner, oboe
Luc Kleiner, baritone

Martha Kleiner is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, where she played in the Philharmonia orchestra, and performed with Boston's Discovery Ensemble. She is a past fellow at the Music Academy of the West, has been a member of the Festival Mozaic Orchestra of San Luis Obispo, and has attended the Aspen Music Festival. Martha is currently pursuing her graduate studies at the Colburn Conservatory of Music. Her teachers have included Los Angeles Philharmonic oboists Anne Marie Gabriele and David Weiss.

Martha will be joined by her brother, baritone Luc Kleiner. Both Martha and Luc are graduates of Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach and are favorites of local music aficionados. Luc is pursuing a degree in music at California State University Long Beach, where he is a member of the Bob Cole Conservatory Chamber Choir.
