Author Laura Hillenbrand's book, Unbroken, is the incredible story of Louie Zamperini's life as a survivor of 47 days at sea in the South Pacific before being picked up by the Japanese Navy and taken as a POW. Louie will be speaking at the Neptunian Woman's Club. Pages (a bookstore) in Manhattan Beach is presenting Louie along with his 15 minute Bob Costa interview about his participation in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin and his story of survival.
