LUNAFEST

Established in 2000 by LUNA, the makers of the Whole Nutrition Bar for Women, LUNAFEST connects women, their stories and their causes through film. This traveling film festival spotlights the work of a diverse array of talented women filmmakers with intelligent, funny and thought-provoking themes. 

This season’s program of nine selected films will compel discussion, make you laugh, tug at your heartstrings and motivate you to make a difference in your community. Incredibly diverse in style and content, LUNAFEST is united by a common thread of exceptional storytelling - by, for and about women.

Special Addition Screening - Condensed Version of FLESH - Bought and Sold in the U.S., and important documentary about Human Trafficking, written, directed and produced by Kristin Ross Lauterbach and Christina Lee Storm.

Formed in 1953, Soroptimist International Manhattan Beach is a group of professional women that work to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities and around the world.

Proceeds benefit Soroptimist International Manhattan Beach and the projects it supports, as well as The Breast Cancer Fund, which is dedicated to eliminating the environmental causes of breast cancer.
