Movies on the Beach: Watch 'E.T.' Saturday Night

Bring your blanket, picnic basket and the whole family for a Saturday night outdoor screening of Steven Spielberg's classic movie E.T.

The Manhattan Beach Parks & Recreation Department invites you to gather at 7pm for a free movie on the beach. Families are encouraged to pack their beach blankets or chairs, grab dinner in downtown Manhattan Beach or pack a picnic basket, and head down to the pier.

  • 7pm - Pre-show entertainment
  • Sundown - Movie will begin
  • 11pm - Approximate end time

Rules and Regulations

  • Alcohol and pets are not allowed at the event
  • Large pop-up tents or umbrellas that may obstruct the screen are not allowed
  • Please be courteous of your fellow beach moviegoers and use low beach chairs
