Local Artists Put On Benefit Art Show

The Paletteers, an art group affiliated with the Palos Verdes Art Center, featured more than 60 works at an exhibit and silent auction that helped raise money for Art With Sally.

An art benefit show drew local crowds Saturday afternoon to view featured watercolor paintings and life-size sculptures.

The Paletteers, an art group affiliated with the Palos Verdes Art Center, showcased a gallery of more than 60 works at the Creative Arts Center.

All proceeds from the silent auction and 25 percent of sales from the exhibit went toward Walk with Sally, an organization that provides mentors for children with a parent or sibling who has cancer.
