Brickworks Roasthouse Set to Open Monday in Manhattan Beach

The restaurant features wood burning ovens and a mix of fare from burgers to salads and steaks to seafood.

Brickworks Roasthouse & Grill will open Monday, according to a sign on the business in the Manhattan Village shopping center. On Friday, workers scurried about getting the eatery into shape for its debut.

The restaurant's website says Brickworks will offer "fire-roasted meats and seafood." The kitchen features an almond wood burning stove oven, mesquite wood burning wheel grill and cherry wood burning smoker.

Meats include USDA Prime steaks aged 21-28 days, Certified Angus Beef prime rib, pork duck, lamb, free-range chicken, Scottish salmon and sushi grade ahi tuna. The menu will also include burgers, sandwiches, salads, oven-roasted vegetables and homemade desserts, according to the website.

An item on la.eater.com says the restaurant, which will seat about 200, will pour from a drink list deep in bourbon and Scotch, and 60 wines by the glass.

Brickworks is at 3212 N. Sepulveda Blvd., in a space previously occupied by LA Food Show.
