dineLA Hits Restaurants in Manhattan Beach and LA Live With Special Prix Fixe Menus Offered From July 16-27

As part of this summer’s dineLA Restaurant Week taking place Monday, July 16 through Friday, July 27, Zislis Group restaurants including The Strand House, Mucho Ultima, zinc@shade at Shade Hotel, ROCK’N FISH Manhattan Beach and ROCK’N FISH LA Live will offer value priced prix fixe menus  to celebrate summer.

The Strand House in Manhattan Beach is offering a tantalizing three-course lunch menu, created by chefs Neal Fraser and Greg Hozinksy. Guests can begin by choosing from sun choked clam chowder, hamachi crudo or a kale salad. For the main course, guests can enjoy the grilled wild king salmon, short rib sandwich or hand torn pasta rags. Finally, guests will conclude with the choice of a brownie sundae, orange olive oil cake or ice cream and sorbet featuring three scoops of the seasonal selections. The three-course lunch at The Strand House is $25 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, and will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Strand House is located at 117 Manhattan Beach Blvd. in Manhattan Beach. Mucho Ultima in Manhattan Beach is offering a zesty three-course dinner menu created by chef partner Scott Linquist and executive chef Bryon Freeze, Food Network “Chef Wanted by Anne Burrell” series premier winner.  Guests will begin by choosing from tuna ceviche, barbecued pork belly sope or a roasted beet salad. The second course includes the delectable softshell crab tacos, lamb barbacoa or Oaxaca salsa duck enchiladas. For dessert, guests will enjoy an Oaxacan chocolate lava cake or crepas de cajeta. zinc@shade at Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach is offering a two-course lunch plus wine. The menu was created by executive chef Chris Garasic provided in a sleek and hip environment. Guests can enjoy a choice of chopped salad, summer salad, southwest black bean soup, tomato bisque, or a sip and dip featuring a taste of tomato soup, mini prosciutto and burrata grilled cheese. For the main dish, guests can choose from the truffle burger, steak frites, fish tacos with sustainable Alaskan cod, chicken marsala, pizza margherita, a king salmon burger, or grilled Napa Valley dolmas. Guests can complement their meal with a selection of red or white wines including pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon, pinot grigio, chardonnay or a bubbly vueve du vernay brut rose. zinc@shade will offer the dineLA menu from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for $20. ROCK’N FISH in Manhattan Beach is serving a two-course lunch menu for dineLA Restaurant Week. In Manhattan Beach, guests will start with either a New England-style clam chowder or a blue cheese wedge. The second course will feature a choice of the prime beef dip, an oak grilled blackened salmon sandwich or beer battered fish and chips. Each of the main courses is served on a sesame seed brioche or a French roll and is accompanied by one ROCK’N side. ROCK’N FISH LA Live is serving a two-course lunch menu and three-course dinner menu. For lunch, guests will choose from a dinner salad, chopped Caesar salad or New England clam chowder to start. Options for the main course include New Orleans BBQ shrimp, oak grilled Santa Maria tri tip or oak grilled salmon with a lemon caper Buerre Blanc. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. t0 4 p.m. for $20 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. For dinner, guests will have a similar menu from the lunch selection, but will share an appetizer for two before choosing their starter. Choice of an appetizer includes oak grilled artichoke or crispy calamari. Dinner is $35 per person, excluding tax and gratuity.
