Snap Caps Event at Bella Beach Kids

Young entrepreneur Maddie Bradshaw signs her book at Bella Beach Kids from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Her Snap Caps line catapulted her M3 Girls business into the record books, selling more than 50,000 necklaces per month in leas than two year's time.

An ABC film crew will be at Bella Beach Kids in downtown Manhattan Beach today to capture Maddie and Margot Bradshaw, originators of Snap Caps and the Spark of Life Jewelry line, according to store owner Kris Mackerer D'Errico. Maddie will sign her book from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Maddie, now 15, will sign "You can Start A Business Today, Too!," which was written to inform young kids about how they can start their own entrepreneurial enterprise, just as Maddie, her sister Margot and their mom have done. The book was the winner of a Creative Child Magazine's 2009 Seal of Excellence Award and the winner of a Parent Tested Parent Approved Media award.

The M3 Girls, Maddie, Margot and their mom, took Maddie's idea, while a fifth grader, to decorate her locker with something creative, to create Snap Caps, "the original interchangeable magnetic bottle cap necklace," turning the M3 Girls into a business phenomenon after starting with $300 of Maddie's money and then selling 50,000 necklaces per month in less than two year’s time, according to the M3 Girls Designs website
