Locals Turn Out to Celebrate MB Farmers Market's 5th Anniversary

Tuesday marked the fifth year of business for the popular Manhattan Beach Certified Farmers Market, and vendors celebrated it the way they always have--with plentiful booths of healthy products.

The market features 17 vendors offering certified organic produce and others serving up hot grub such as pupusas and rotisserie chicken. Most vendors have been around since the market's inception.

"They remember you," said Manhattan Beach resident Alexandra Smith, "and when you buy from them, they're always giving you extra."

Summer hours are Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
