The Rockefeller to Hold Grand Opening of Manhattan Beach Location Thursday
The successful Hermosa Beach gastropub brings its winning ways to downtown Manhattan Beach.
Successful entrepreneur Allen Sanford is bringing his Hermosa Beach hot spot The Rockefeller to downtown Manhattan Beach at 1209 Highland Ave.
The gastropub, which opened within the past 30 days, will celebrate its official grand opening Thursday beginning at 5 p.m. with 20 craft beers on tap, boutique wines and much the same menu folks enjoy at the original Hermosa Beach location on Pier Avenue.
As Sanford told the Easy Reader, his Hermosa Beach location has had a large Manhattan Beach clientele from its inception. So, when an opportunity presented itself, Sanford and cohorts seized the chance to open another Rockefeller in what they consider a hospitable climate.
Sanford has brought the Hermosa Beach gastropub's look and feel to a smaller space, making the kitchen visible and the eatery open to the street despite its elegant yet casual interior.
The Rockefeller in Manhattan Beach is open Monday-Thursday from 5-11 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-midnight; (310) 545-8110.
