Exclusive Custom 'MB 100' Tote

Bella Beach is selling a stylish large tote in celebration of the city's centennial year, made of recycled local sail cloth and canvas. There are only 100 numbered bags available.

If Manhattan Beach is your bag, the commemorative, limited-edition "MB 100" tote could be the best holiday gift you receive this year.

With only 100 bags available, this limited-edition and numbered recycled sail cloth and canvas carry all has already caught the attention of savvy travelers. Lorie Carmany, MB City Manager Dave Carmany's wife, received nothing but positive comments when she carried it while en route to the east coast, said Kris Mackerer D'Ericco, Bella Beach owner and the woman behind the bag.

Boyd Sail Cloth has made the bag exclusively for Bella Beach, to celebrate the Manhattan Beach centennial. The MB centennial logo is cleverly crafted into the inside of the bag, which sports MB on one side, 100 on the other.

"It [the bag] shows your local pride," said Mackerer D'Errico, who has lived in MB for 34 years. Once the lone 100 commemorative bags are sold [they go for $225 each], Bella Beach will donate $5,000 to the MB centennial committee to offset costs of the yearlong celebration that began last Sunday, Dec. 11 at the fireworks gala when "MB 2012" appeared in the sky.

Bella Beach is at 227 Manhattan Beach Blvd., Manhattan Beach; (310) 545-9990.
