Tree Trimming On Veterans Parkway

Tree trimming operation for all Eucalyptus trees on Veterans Parkway will begin Tuesday 10/22/13. The plan is to start at the Hermosa border and work north. West Coast Arborists will haul off and dispose of tree trimming debris in 40 yard roll-off bins for recycling and all weight is reported back to the City so we may receive diversion credit. The roll-offs will be off the street every evening and brought back the following day as the work progresses north. Select trees on the Marine Avenue & Rosecrans Avenue medians, and Polliwog Park are also on the list for trimming this fall. Updated schedules will be forthcoming. -Dave Carmany, City Manager
