Register to Vote Online in California

Debra Bowen, Secretary of State, establishes online voter registration in California.

The general election will be held on Tuesday, November 6th! Across the nation there are more than 6 million women who are eligible to vote - but are not registered to vote. And many men as well!

Are you registered to vote? I am. How many of us know people who aren't registered to vote because they don't want to serve on a jury? My opinion is that jury service is a good thing to do. But if you look into it, they actually choose people for jury service through driver's license records and voter files. Are your friends going to refrain from renewing their driver's license? I hope not!

And now, as of today, qualified people can actually register to vote online in the state of California - thanks to our great Secretary of State, Debra Bowen. Here is the link:

As you may recall, Debra Bowen (D) used to represent our former 53rd Assembly District in our State Legislature. As the Secretary of State, she has protected our California voting system and has now established this very easy way for more people to register to vote! It's so gratifying to know that state leaders, like Debra Bowen, work hard to make good things happen for all of us!

October 22nd is the deadline to register to vote.

Let's all vote on November 6, 2012.
