Late night drivers will encounter closures of all transition roads at the major interchange near Staples Center next week, Caltrans officials said Saturday.
Every ramp linking the Harbor (110) and Santa Monica (10) freeways will be closed between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. starting Sunday night and Monday morning, and ending Thursday night and Friday morning.
Up to three lanes of the 110 Freeway will also be closed early mornings Monday through Friday. Surface streets in the area may also be closed, as will 110 ramps near L.A. Live.
A contractor is widening ramps and replacing 65-year-old bridge railings under a $25 million Caltrans contract at the landmark interchange, which is one of the busiest in California.
