James Cameron, National Geographic Shoot Cover in Manhattan Beach

If you manage to get on the campus of Manhattan Beach Studios Media Campus, it'd be easy to get lost on its 23 acres that includes 15 sound stages and about 250,000 square feet of production office and support space.

That probably never happens to Academy Award winner James Cameron, whose Lightstorm Entertainment in 2011 signed a 5-year lease for two big soundstages, totaling 115,000 square feet at the campus at 1600 Rosecrans Ave.

Cameron is featured on the June cover of National Geographic, with the photo of him underwater in a tank shot on MBS.
