Manhattan Beach imported a little Los Angeles when Chef Mark Gold opened Chez Soi in Metlox Plaza. Now, Manhattan Beach is exporting Open Sesame, which is planning to open in the site of Gold's former restaurant Eva, according to laeater.com.
In March, Gold announced the sale and shuttering of Eva after operating it for 3+ years. He then reappeared in Manhattan Beach, partnered with Mark Thierry. They opened Chez Soi in May.
