Small Earthquake Rattles South Bay

The magnitude 2.3 quake was felt in Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach.

A small earthquake centered in Manhattan Beach was felt across the beach cities early Saturday morning.

According to the Southern California Earthquake Data Center, the magnitude 2.3 quake was centered in Manhattan Beach at a depth of 7.1 miles.

The quake struck shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
