Walk, Talk With Mayor David Lesser Monday

Take a scenic walk and talk with Mayor David Lesser and others who join the "Mayor's Walk 'N' Talk" this Monday, beginning at 8 a.m.

The walk, started by former Mayor Nick Tell and continued by the city's most recent former Mayor Wayne Powell, will be held the first Monday of every month, with the exception of federal holidays and rain.

“The ‘Mayor's Walk 'N' Talk’ has become a wonderful tradition in Manhattan Beach," said Lesser. "I look forward to meeting and speaking informally with Manhattan Beach residents while walking along our beautiful shoreline."

Walkers should meet at 8 a.m. in front of the downtown Manhattan Beach Peet’s Coffee & Tea, 328 Manhattan Beach Blvd. Walks typically last from 60 to 90 minutes.
