Week in Review: Singing, Snowboarding, Signs, and More

Two Mira Costa students are arrested on campus, but the rest of the news this week is pretty darn good.

Lots of youth-oriented news this week as Manhattan Beach youngsters continue to add achievements to their impressive resumes. Yale freshman and MCHS grad DJ Stanfill returns, Indigo Monk makes the world team, Mira Costa boys lacrosse and volleyball take down rival Redondo, robotics students from MCHS and RUHS partner and student artists produce winning work.

Of course, there was other news: new restricted turn signs were installed on Sepulveda Boulevard at 8th Street, two MCHS students were arrested on campus, Hennessey's Tavern took home some love from our readers, and the highly anticipated rain delayed several events.

Here's a recap from March 11 through March 17, 2012.
