5-Course Stone Brewing Dinner at Jackson's Food + Drink

El Segundo, CA - "Fizzy Yellow Beer is for Wussies" That's why Jackson's Food + Drink is celebrating their 1 Year Anniversary and they are doing it in style. In the heart of LA Beer Week, Chef Matt Strong is teaming up with Stone Brewing Company to offer a 5-course beerdinner that will knock your socks off! A true highlight of the dinner will be the addition of Stone's 'Enjoy By' IPA which will only be 3 days old when patrons sit down to enjoy this exciting meal.  Chef Matt Strong is a graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu program in Pasadena. Matt's resume  includes celebrated restaurants such as Patina in Los Angeles and Jean-Georges in New York City. His most recent roles have been in the kitchen at Spago and Wolfgang Puck catering.

1st course- Maryland lump crab cake with grilled tomato coulis, basil pesto, melted cherry tomatoes and micro basil

2nd course- Indian spiced cauliflower

Paired with: R&R Coconut IPA

3rd course- Caramelized jumbo naked sea scallop with lemongrass scented jasmine rice and red Thai coconut curry sauce. 

Paired with: Stone Enjoy By IPA

4th course- BBQ pulled pork slider with crisp cole slaw and housemade BBQ sauce

Paired with: Stone Smoked Porter

5th course-  Chocolate Espresso Cake

Paired with: 2013 Stone Espresso Imperial Russian Stout
