 Jojo Moyes is well-known in the UK for her romance novels and now, her US publisher (Penguin) is trying to spread the magic of her popular books here in the US.  Jojo's ninth novel, "Me Before You", published December 31st,  is already getting kudos here in the US.  Oprah Magazine described it "to be devoured, like candy, between tears".  A recent New York Times review began with "Ms. Moyes's novel boldly combines a sappy love story with the right-to-die debate".  The Independent Bookstores picked "Me Before You" for its Indie Next January pick.  Sara Figel read the arc and loved it.  We are lucky to have Jojo visit us in Manhattan Beach.  This is the third stop of her US tour!   We hope that you will come out  and attend.   As for us at {pages}, having a popular author of this caliber is a big deal. If there is a good attendance for this event we may get more opportunities to see other big names at {pages} in the near future.  This is a great read for book clubs and might wind up being the next "Gone Girl".   Please join us for our first literary night of 2013!
