Beach Coordinating Council Luncheon, Thursday, January 17, 12 noon
(registration 11:30 AM) at Verandas (401 Rosecrans Avenue, Manhattan Beach). The
program will include recognizing Students of the Month from three Manhattan
Beach schools and a presentation by Dr. Greg Allen, founder of Freedom 4U. He
will discuss how to communicate with teens and how to understand the hidden
logic and meaning behind their words and behaviors so as to prevent risky
behaviors. The cost is $30 for associates and $40 for non-associates. For
