Wine Academy at Shade Hotel

Calling all wine lovers! Shade Hotel, known for its annual Ultimate Wine Festival, is expanding its celebration of wine with monthly Wine Academy social gatherings on its rooftop SkyDeck. The first event is set for Thursday, February 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will feature Winemaker Mario Monticelli of Trinchero wines.  During the first hour, guests will have the opportunity to mingle with Monticelli while enjoying a selection of Trinchero wines and a variety of tray passed hors d’oeuvres presented by the hotel’s Executive Chef Chris Garasic.  The second hour will invite guests to enjoy an interactive presentation from the winemaker designed to encourage a lively discussion about wine. Pre-sale tickets are $25 per person, or $30 at the door.


The Wine Academy will take place monthly on the third Thursday of the month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.  They are designed to be intimate, casual, informative and interactive social gatherings for wine lovers.  Space is limited.
