Neighborhood Watch Program Community Meeting

On Wednesday, September 18, 2013,at 7:00pm, the Neighborhood Watch program of Manhattan Beach Police Department

would like to invite residents of Manhattan Beach to an informational

meeting about disaster preparedness in the City and the Neighborhood

Watch program.

Residents who have an interest in learning more about Manhattan

Beach Neighborhood Watch and how to join with hundreds of others in the

prevention of crime, are welcome and encouraged to attend. For over 30

years, Manhattan Beach Neighborhood Watch has worked tirelessly to

involve the community in home/personal safety education, deterring crime

and looking out for one another. Although there are nearly 500 Block

Captains, there are many streets without a volunteer and those folks are

not receiving important crime and safety information. A volunteer Block

Captain is essential to the continued success of Manhattan Beach

Neighborhood Watch and communication between the residents and police

department.

For more information, please call Manhattan Beach Neighborhood Watch at (310) 802-5183.
