Heal The Bay Coastal Clean-up Day

While our beach looks clean from afar, it contains debris that can be life threatening to sea and bird life. Sections of the Pacific Ocean contain six times more plastic than plankton. And trash in our oceans is killing everything from sea turtles to whales.

Join us Saturday, September 25, as we take part in Heal the Bay's Coastal Cleanup Day and leave behind nothing but sand! Meet on the sand just north of the Rosecrans bathrooms at 9 a.m.

Parking options include the Rosecrans/Highland lot and the Strand parking lot (enter at 45th Street and Ocean Avenue and remember to bring change for the meters). Heal The Bay will be providing necessary supplies, including gloves and bags. Don't forget to wear your sunscreen!
