Santa Parade Set for Friday at Manhattan Village Shopping Center
Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be in the parade that heralds Santa's arrival at Manhattan Village for the holiday season.
Santa Claus will arrive at Manhattan Village Shopping Center on Friday at 9:30 a.m. when the mall holds its annual Santa Arrival Parade starting at Olive Garden.
The Mira Costa High School marching band, dance team and tall flags will lead the parade during which Santa will be escorted to the north mall entrance atop a Manhattan Beach Fire Department fire engine. The parade includes Mrs. Claus and a collection of favorite costume characters.
A complimentary continental breakfast will be available, courtesy of Corner Bakery Cafe, and children's activities throughout the mall follow the parade from 10 a.m.-noon, according to mall personnel.
From Friday through Saturday, Dec. 24, Santa will be in Center Court to hear children’s holiday wishes. Photographs are available for purchase, and Santa will hand out free plush reindeer to all who purchase a photo package.
Manhattan Village is located at Sepulveda Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue, one mile west of the 405 freeway in Manhattan Beach.
