ms vintage---Grand Opening

Great News!  "ms vintage" is relocating to the lovely beach town of Playa del Rey.  Our new store is in the process of being renovated as we write--it will be twice the size and just as welcoming as our Abbot Kinney store. It is only 10 minutes away (by car), even closer to the airport and a lovely bike/walk from Marina del Rey.  We hope be in our new space at 314 Culver Blvd. (3 blocks from the beach) by June 1, 2012. 

"ms vintage" opened about 4 1/2 years ago at 1508 Abbot Kinney---we have been lucky to have had a wonderful reception from the local neighborhood, and we have made many new friends from all over the world, thanks to Abbot Kinney's fame as a "shopping street".  We hope to be able to convince our loyal customers to visit our new store at 314 Culver Blvd., and we hope we will be able to develop our business in  new ways which will benefit us as well as the Playa Del Rey and adjacent communities. 

For those of you who are not familiar with our store here is a brief description:

ms vintage is a labor of love founded by its two owners Marsha Gleeman and Sabrina Brulee.  Both avid collectors of vintage design in all forms, from art to furniture, clothing to quilts and more, about 4 years ago we decided to open a store dedicated to the recycling of stylish vintage items.  As buyers, we search for unique pieces which are designed well and made well, regardless of the era.  The price of each item is based upon the actual purchase price of the item; if ms vintage “does well”, then the ms vintage client will do well also.  Today, where the lack of craftsmanship is apparent in many of the newer items, recycling is a very healthy alternative.  Ms vintage is a timely and environmentally healthy option.
