Coastal Living Magazine Profiles Manhattan Beach Cottage Remodel

Manhattan Beach designer and resident Jill Johnson's stylish re-make of her beach cottage caught the attention of Coastal Living magazine, which recently profiled Johnson's work on what previously was a rental house.

Johnson, who was going to rent the house out, ended up turning the 1920's one-bedroom abode to a four-bedroom home.

Still on newsstands, the rehabbing of what is now a quaint home can also be seen online in fuller detail, with photos of old and new.

Interestingly enough, she told the magazine the older the property and the fewer remodels already done to it, the better for her.
