Blog Post: Kure 4 Kids Benefit

Join Kure 4 Kids on Saturday to raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Join Kure 4 Kids on Saturday, June 23, for a fun-filled day of activities and entertainment as they raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The all-day event takes place at (1238 Hermosa Ave.) and (1220 Hermosa Ave.) in Hermosa Beach.

There are three separate events scheduled: a poker tournament, scavenger hunt and iron man competition for kids.

The scavenger hunt takes place around the Beach Cities. Put together a team of four and make your way to the locations pictured in the photographs each team will be given. Take a picture of one of your team members in front of that location on your digital camera or smart phone, then move on to the next location. The first three teams back with all the photos (or the most) will receive a prize! For event details and registration information, visit the website at kure4kids.org/scavenger-hunt.

Enter the little ones in the Kure4Kids Iron Man Contest! It consists of three five-minute events. The first five minutes will be dancing, then sport skills and last, a fun obstacle course. When the competition is over, stay and have fun in the family area which will include a bouncy house, face painting, balloon animals and more located in the parking lot between Café Boogaloo and Game Changers. For event details and registration information, visit the website at kure4kids.org/kids-iron-man.

Join other local poker enthusiasts as you try to outlast the field, make the final table and take down the top prize! The poker tournament takes place at Game Changers. For event details and registration information, visit the website at kure4kids.org/poker-tournament.

There will be live music and food and drink specials throughout the day with a silent auction, opportunity drawings and prizes. The entry donation is $10 unless you are registered for one of the events.
