What do you like about the holiday season? My family is all together. Kids home from college. I love my family.
What don't you like about it? Long hours at the shop and you bring it home too often. Your business never sleeps when you’re the owner, neither do you.
What's your holiday wish for others? Peace on earth and good health.
If you could give someone in your life whatever gift you wanted to, what would the gift be and who would you give it to? I would give my family happiness and good health.
What are your plans for this New Year's Eve? Stay home with my wife and fall asleep by 10 p.m.
What will you do on (New Year's Day) Jan. 1 and 2? Watch football (Rose Bowl) and walk my dogs...on both days.
What stands out to you about 2011, either personally, professionally or in general? Bad economy...nothing too earth shattering really.
What is your New Year's Resolution? To go for a run five days a week, not far, just get the heart pumping.
What's your favorite Christmas tradition? Watching “It’s a Wonderful Life” on Christmas Eve.
What holiday foods do you like? Williams-Sonoma Peppermint Bark and Trader Joe's almond dark chocolate bark.
Is there anyone near and dear to you who wasn't with you for the holidays? Who, and why? My grandma, 92 yrs old, lives in Guatemala with my uncle. I miss her.
What does Christmas mean to you? A lot of work and stress. Sorry but the bakery business is not for those that want to enjoy and relax during the holiday season.
