As a mother of a Mira Costa teenage girl, my heart goes out to Rachel's parents, family & friends, as well as the male driver & his family. What a horrible tradgedy that no words can soften. Please know that you are in my prayers. Also, i am confident that this circumstance will open the eyes of other teens to keep themselves buckled up & Rachel's death will help save countless lives we may never learn about. God's peace.

We are having a fundraiser for Rachel's family during this very difficult time. Come to The Counter Restaurant on Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach on Thursday, April 19, 2012 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and eat--dine in, take out, say you are there for Rachel and 20% of proceeds go towards her memorial fund. See you there.
