"Preparing for Disaster in the America" I'm producing a blog-talk radio show Tuesday's @ 0700 Pacific. We expanded it across the country with an all hazards approach. Be my guest.

Universal 1st Aid and Survival Skills through Entertaining Education.

Our guest Tuesday Morning June 24th is Survivor Jack Jobe of Denver.  Jack is an Emmy-nominated photojournalist, wordsmith, voice actor, inventor of a new rescue tool and common sense survival instructor.  Jack began college as a math major but was encouraged to switch to Radio and TV because of his voice. His first show was Datebook and his favorite interview was with Bruce Lee.  After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, he went to work and earned an Emmy nomination with Bob Dotson of NBC News, to whom he gives 90% of the credit.  After watching footage of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, he realized how unprepared his family was for a disaster of that magnitude and got to work.  His website, www.survivorjack.com, offers free online reviews of survival plans, scenarios information and inexpensive survival tips.  Jack’s mission is equipping and empowering people through entertaining first aid and survival education and today, he’s going to share some of his insights with us.
