Bicyclists Arrested on Suspicion of Burglary Tools Possession

Police found interesting items in the bicyclists' backpacks.

Two bicyclists stopped by police for a traffic violation were arrested for possession of burglary tools, according to a Manhattan Beach Police Department report.

The incident happened on Nov. 16 at Aviation and Manhattan Beach boulevards when the two were stopped around 8:44 a.m. During the stop, the Manhattan Beach police officer found bolt-cutters and two way radios in the bicyclists' backpacks, according to the report.
