Bomb Threat Closes Imperial Avenue Near LAX

A bomb threat incident on a bus has stopped the flow of traffic in El Segundo from Main Street to Sheldon Street and as far south as Walnut Avenue in that city, according to an advisory post on the El Segundo Police Department website.

The threat is on a bus located in the 200 block of Imperial Avenue, which runs parallel to Imperial Highway. A bomb squad is on scene.

Police are asking drivers and onlookers to avoid the area until the situation is resolved.
