Craigslist Massage Turns Into Robbery by Gun

Two men staying at a Manhattan Beach hotel get more than they expected.

A woman who'd been hired to massage two men in their Manhattan Beach Marriott hotel room pulled a black semiautomatic gun about 15 minutes into the session, taking another $300 in cash from a nightstand in the room, said Stephanie Martin of the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

The men, born in 1977 and 1981, had located the woman using Craiglist at about 6 a.m. on Sept. 15 and when she arrived, about 25 minutes later, paid her $300 in cash upfront prior to the massages.

The woman, described as Hispanic, in her 20s, 5’1” to 5’4”, 110-140 pounds, long brown hair, wearing a brown shirt and black pants, said nothing when she pulled the gun, adding to her take $300 in cash visible on a nightstand.
