Fire Dept. Hosts Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser Sunday Night

Dine inside Fire Station No. 1 in Manhattan Beach during their annual all-you-can-eat spaghetti fundraiser, the same night as the holiday fireworks.

Before heading to catch the fireworks in downtown Manhattan Beach Sunday, make plans to eat during the Manhattan Beach Fire Department's 17th Annual Spaghetti Dinner.

The spaghetti dinner costs $10 for all you can eat, with proceeds going to local charities, said Battalion Chief Frank Chiella. The dinner is held inside the fire station at 400 15th St. and will be served from 4-6:30 p.m.

The event brings out folks of all ages, as well as firefighters who cook up a storm. Volunteers from local organizations, including the Community Emergency Response Team, volunteer their time to help out.
