A second suspect is being sought. Police said they hoped that making public McDaniel's booking picture would generate new leads.

A woman arrived at her home in the 1600 block of Fifth Street that Friday evening and found two men ransacking the place, Ford said.

She was tied up and held at gunpoint for several hours, he said. The woman's father came over later, and he was held until the robbers fled about 12:30 a.m., Ford said.

What was taken was not disclosed. Anyone with more information about the second man was asked to call Ford at (310) 802-5123.
