Gun Used in Daytime Home Invasion Robbery

MBPD is looking for two adult black males who could have possibly been in a dark metallic gray Chevrolet Tahoe.

Two men used a gun to threaten a resident in his garage in the 1700 block of Nelson Avenue Monday, said Manhattan Beach Police Detective Sergeant Paul Ford. The suspects then ransacked the home and demanded the victim's money and wallet.

The incident happened around 11 a.m. After the victim heard the suspects leave, he called 9-1-1. Responding police officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspects who are described as black males, 20-23 years old, one with a small moustache.

A witness described seeing two suspicious men in a "very clean" dark metallic gray Chevrolet Tahoe with tinted rear windows minutes prior to the home invasion robbery, said Ford.

Anyone with information should call Ford at 310-802-5123.
