Have Coffee with MBPD Next Wednesday

The informal event provides residents the opportunity to meet, mingle and talk to members of the city's police department.

Mark Wednesday, Jan. 23 on your calendar for Manhattan Beach Police Department's first-ever "Coffee With A Cop" from 8-10 a.m. at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, 3008 North Sepulveda Boulevard in Manhattan Village.

Coffee With A Cop is a community-based program designed to bring residents and police officers together for a casual meet-and-greet. Residents are invited to join officers, which will include representatives from various divisions, including Traffic (motor officers), Investigations (detective), Patrol (officer) and Parking Enforcement (Community Services Officer), according to a department press release.

The event is an opportunity for MB residents to discuss concerns, ask questions regarding police procedures, share suggestions and sit down with an officer to share a cup of complimentary coffee.
