Photos of Bank Robber Released

Police are looking for any leads and tips to help them locate the suspect who robbed a bank in Manhattan Beach Friday afternoon.

Police have released photos of the suspect wanted for robbing the U.S. Bank in Manhattan Village Friday afternoon, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash.

In one photo, a gun can be seen.

The suspect has been described as a white male with a small build, about 5' 7" to 5' 8" and weighing around 160 lbs., with salt and pepper hair and a light goatee, said Sgt. Steve Kitsios of the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

A red-and-white Schwinn Legacy bicycle police believe the man used to flee on was recovered on 27th St., leaning against a residential fence behind Children's Orchard, near Oak Ave. Friday around 4:15 p.m. 

Anyone with information is asked to call Sgt. Paul Ford of MBPD at 310-802-5123.
