Police Arrest Duo on Alleged Burglary-Related Charges

The man and woman are stopped in Redondo Beach.

Two people arrested on burglary-related charges Thursday shortly after 9 p.m. are not connected to a residential burglary an hour prior, said Det. Sgt. Paul Ford of the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

A man and woman were arrested in the 1900 block of Marine Avenue in Redondo Beach after a Manhattan Beach police officer pulled them over for several vehicle code violations.

The driver of the vehicle, on active parole for burglary, was arrested for possession of burglary tools and on an outstanding warrant, according to a report on Nixle.

The female passenger was arrested for suspicion of burglary and conspiracy, Ford said Monday.

Police did not recover any stolen goods in the vehicle, said Ford.
